Half Sauce, Half Jelly. Fresh mint from the Walled Garden and Apples from our Oldest Apple Tree.

SAGE & APPLE JELLY

Sage, Apples, Apple Cider Vinegar, Sugar

 

First time we've made this mixture.  It won't be the last. Tried it with Roast pork and it works great. Think it would also work well with Pork Pie or maybe a spoonful in your pork gravy?

Garden Mint, Apple Cider Vinegar, Balsamic Vinegar, Sugar

 

What's to say? Lashings on your Lamb...lovely!

CRANBERRY & CLEMENTINE SAUCE

Cranberries, Nardacot Oranges, Port, Sugar

 

Must say that the addition of Nardacot oranges (recommended by my backup Greengrocer, Russell Sharp) has been a triumph. Apparently, they are part of the Clementine family. Bloody lovely. This sauce is a must for your Christmas Turkey!

WILD DAMSON & APPLE JELLY

Wild Damsons, Apples, Lemon Juice, Sugar

 

My good friend, Rex Caplan, brought me a large box of Wild Damsons picked from the Hedgerows of his land at over 1000 ft above sea level. The depth of flavour is amazing. Use as you would Redcurrant Jelly. With Lamb, Cheese, or a big spoonful to sweeten your gravy.
