A selection of fresh garden vegetables that have been salted (preserved) overnight, then washed & drained, blanched and added to a sauce made up of cider vinegar, sugar, mustard powder and turmeric (which is why it's bright yellow!). The big challenge is getting the right flavour and consistency of the sauce mix.
It’s great with cold cuts, pork pie, etc.

A warming mix of dried fruits, which are soaked overnight in fresh orange juice, port, and brandy to plump them up, plus fresh garden vegetables and a secret mix of Asian spices, plus the zest of the oranges used for soaking the dried fruit, along with fresh cranberries. It's an ideal chutney for a "Boxing Day" feast of ham and leftover turkey, etc.
